We headed off to the other side of the Pacific to spend Christmas with Angela's family. 2/3 of the family was able to be together, enjoying the beauty of New Zealand and precious, rare time together!
(FYI: if you click on a picture it will enlarge!)
Angela's parents live in the Bay of Plenty - here we are enjoying fish-n-chips at the beach.
Angela's brother's family flew in from England.
The 5 cousins at Nana and Papa's house in their Christmas PJs.
Good times, even on rainy days at the beach.
Lots of soccer/football was played.
Sweet visits with cousins, aunties and uncles.
We saw many of our kiwi friends, but many we had to leave to the next trip!
We had a brief weekend layover in Southern California and caught up with our dear friends there.
On our way home we discovered a bonus to being delayed and trapped on the ground in a plane for several hours: Cedric enjoyed half an hour chatting with our pilot and learning a wee bit of how airplanes work!
