Cedric Walks Now!

2 days before turning 14 months, Cedric started walking on his own! He is still cautious, but is quite cute toddling around the place.

The Wedding

My younger brother, Jonathan Yarrall, married Tina Lawler on April 7th, 2012. The wedding brought my whole family together, something that is getting harder and harder to do. Jon serves in London with OM, my sister and her husband are in Thailand and my parents are based in Los Angeles, CA. 

It was a beautiful day from start to finish!

Between them, Jon and Tina now have 16 nieces and nephews with 2 more on the way!

UK Wedding Trip

We were blessed to be able to visit friends in Scotland and sightsee around London during our time in the UK for Jon's wedding. Here are some of our favorite memories:

March 2012 Pictures

March started out with a conference for the mothers in our churches... the topics covered all sorts of child-rearing basics for the toddler years. I was asked to help compile the articles all the speakers wrote on their particular topic, it was a nice way to be able to help out behind the scenes from home.

This time the conference was within walking distance of our home so I loaded Cedric into the stroller and he distracted me for the first half of the day until Bill was done with his students at the Bible Institute and was able to come pick Cedric up. I was then able to concentrate and enjoy the rest of the conference!

Cedric turns 10 months old this week... his milestones include:

4th and 40th Birthdays

Two weeks ago we joined in the celebrations for the 4th birthday of a sweet little girl at church. I was asked to bake and decorate a cake for 50 people! I'm no professional, but I had fun being creative. We went as a family to her "Piñata" birthday party, Cedric especially enjoyed watching all the action and he came home with a ball that has provided endless amusement!

Bill and Cedric took me out for lunch at Crepes & Waffles for my 40th birthday. These two boys are my best gifts ever!

Favorite USA trip Pictures

This visit to California was primarily about being with family, yet we were blessed to also be able to catch up with a good number of friends. All the visits were way too short though!! We are now at the end of our trip with much to be thankful for, many good memories made and now ready to go back to our life, friends and ministries in Bogota.
