My Favorite USA 2013 Trip Pictures

 We threw a 2-year birthday party for Cedric the first week in Long Beach!

 There were lots of moments of playtime and fun with cousins at Nana & Papa's house.

The only thing that grieves me about living overseas is being far from family, so I was glad that on this trip Cedric had good quality time with four of his 10 cousins! (Here's to hoping he will soon be able meet and play with the rest of them!)

This was also a farewell trip in many ways. My parents are packing up and moving back to New Zealand later this year, so it was goodbye to the home base I've known for the past 23 years.

Church Baptisms

Back in April Bill had the privilege of being involved in discipling and baptizing 9 new believers at our church.

How We Spent Cedric's Second Birthday

Bucaramanga Easter Trip

It was a rich and happy visit!

Bill:

"it was a rewarding trip ~ spending my mornings playing with my boy in the warm tropical climate and then sharing God's word in the evenings at the Easter conference."

Angela:

"I loved cooking meals undistractedly (read: without a little fellow under foot!) and cherished being in my childhood hometown with dear friends."

Last day in town we went for a swim in the pool where I had my lessons when I was a girl. Cedric was a bit under the weather, so he and Bill crashed for awhile in the shade.

One of our favorite toppings on pancakes is powdered sugar with lemon juice ~ actually, it's lime juice since we don't get yellow lemons here!

Bill was about to replace one of the shower heads, so Cedric got to figure out its other uses first.

"Best" neighbor friend. They always look for each other at the playground. Sharon is 5 years old and wants to treat Cedric like her play doll. He just squawks every time she tries to pick him up, but loves her anyway!
